So, what makes a good detective.. ? I love crime stories.. I started out with Enid Blyton, continued with Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, went on the Agatha Christie, went through all the classics - not to forget the "darker" classics but that does not belong here - re-read a few lately and started to doodle.. and this painting was the result, and when I finished it, this famous sentence just jumped at me. Open eyes, open ears, open mind...... Elementary, My Dear Watson!
