hello my friends

i am not much of a journal-poster..... somehow i feel that i am not really good at expressing myself in writing LOL

nevertheless... i want to make an announcement!

a very dear friend of mine from canada, namely

- who btw is an absolutely phantastic photographer, please go and visit his page!!! - recently suggested that i should start creating a tarot deck.. i was not too sure if that was such a good idea cause i am neither an organized nor a very disciplined person... and to do this kind of work.. it needs at least a bit of discipline

.. well lo and behold.. i did start on it.. cause that idea wouldn't let go of me..

those who know me well know, that i am a great admirer of the swiss psycho-analyst c.g. jung - with whom i am related btw .. albeit very very distantly LOL !. anyway.. jung's book on symbols, mandalas.. his whole work i have read over and over and so perhaps you can say that my tarot deck is slightly influenced by jung. or at least.. his idea or ideas or teachings are at the back of it....

i have noticed that when i start on a card.. i never know in advance which card it will be. i just start... and as the work proceeds i follow my intuition.. call it automatic painting.. similar to automatic writing.. i let my subconscious take over.. and am creator and bystander.. watching myself creating.. watching WHAT i am creating... being surprised, amused.. intrigued...

as to the titles being in spanish.... well .. again i followed my intuition.. i do NOT speak spanish.. or only very little so there i need help from my spanish speaking friends to give me the spanish names of the cards. there is a reason for them having spanish titles..

i have started this journal.. where i will deposit the cards as i finish them. they are mixed up - hey.. give me a little bit of chaos please

... and will not appear regularly.. depending on how much time i have to spare..

i hope you will enjoy them..

oh.. and i would also like to take the opportunity here to thank

for translating all the major arcana into spanish for me! thanks so much.. i greatly appreciate your help!!!

Mostly Saturday night I was scouting out locations for my own series of cards and attempting to get together some ideas...so far that is not happening so I may, like you, just let the cards show themselves to me.

~Sassychero: Good morning darling!! Had surgery Friday.. home yesterday.. things are going fabulous as far as chronic pain... it's nearly gone!!! Now to heal from surgery so that pain is gone too! I may actually get a life back! LOL
